Special operations

Special operations or non-conventional operations are technological processes which have appeared only recently due to technical improvements. They permit to exploit physical and chemical principles, which were unavailable in the past, to accomplish operations, which could not otherwise be carried out or for which the conventional processes result ineffective or uneconomic. They are based on physical, mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical processes which are different from the traditional ones (casting, pressing, punching and chip removal).

Examples of non-conventional operations are: EDM, isotropic finishing, laser cutting, water-jet cutting and 3D printing.

After finishing the processing cycle of the commissioned components, we handle externally, through our network of qualified suppliers, the above-mentioned non-conventional as well as some conventional operations, e.g.: welding, broaching, slotting, toothing, balancing, marking, grinding, lapping and vulcanization.
